MH Troop 599 for Boys and Troop 2599 for Girls offer a year-round adventure-based program designed to offer and encourage effective leadership, character, citizenship, and fitness training for youths, ages 11-17.

As part of the new Scouts BSA program, Troop 599 helped charter one of the first Girl Troop in Mountain House! Our troops are known as “linked” units within the Scouts BSA program, which means we operate as separate units but schedule meetings at the same time and work together on a few combined activities each year. This is a terrific program for families with boys and girls that both want to be Scouts. 

For scouts who are not yet old enough to join Troop 599 or Troop 2599, please visit… Our Troops often engage with our sibling Pack 599, and Cub Scouts is a great way to get a taste for scouting.

We welcome youth 11 to 17 years of age. You can also join if you are 10 years old with the Cub Scout Arrow of Light Award or have completed 5th grade.
